I am so so happy. Finally, I am enrolled to VMware vSphere: What’s New [V5.1] online course which will allow me to go for VCP5-DCV certification.
Well, I have to admit. I was the lazy one. When I passed my VCP4-DCV, almost four or five months later vSphere 5.0 came out and I was eligible to pass it without training. I thought – well I will do it later, there is no need to do it right away.
I was so wrong!
Two years later
So here I am two years later still holding my VCP4-DCV certification. I cursed myself so many times during those years that I didn’t go for “easy” upgrade.
“Easy” – in terms of requirements for the exam.
So – I just got confirmation (blessing and payment coverage) from my employer that I can attend online course VMware vSphere: What’s New [V5.1].
Right after it (two or three weeks), I will schedule a VCP5-DCV exam and I will work very hard to pass the exam.
Never ever procrastinate – or be lazy in short words
Lesson learned for me. After I will pass VCP5-DCV (of course there is no other choice 🙂 ) I will participate in all upgrades. Not only for VMware – Microsoft is taken into consideration as well. But first things first.
My experience and skills have been proven by leading vendor certifications like AWS, Alibaba Cloud, VMware, and Microsoft. I contribute to the IT community and I received VMware vExpert 2014 - 2019, vExpert Pro and VMware vExpert NSX 2017 Award.
