In this post I would like to share with you my plans for VMware Education for 2014.

## Where am I now with VMware Education?

I passed VMware Certified Professional 5 – Data Center Virtualization certification in December 2013. In November 2013 I passed several VMware Certified Associate certifications: Data Center Virtualization, Workforce Mobility and Cloud.

## Where I would like to be?

As almost every IT guy I have long-term goals and short-term one. Today I would like to share with you my short-term goal.

In 2014 I would like to pass **VMware Certified Advanced Professional 5 - Data Center Administration** (VCAP5-DCA) certification. To be honest as you read this post I am attending course <a title="VMware vSphere: Optimize and Scale [V5.1]" href="https://mylearn.vmware.com/mgrreg/courses.cfm?ui=www_edu&a=one&id_subject=39046" target="_blank">VMware vSphere: Optimize and Scale [V5.1]</a>to better prepare myself to this exam.

If I pass VCAP5-DCA certification I will push really quickly towards VCAP5-DCD.
