Merry Christmas to my Italian friends! Google has left a gift under the tree: **ve2 nodes** are now available in the Milan (`europe-west8`) region, specifically zone `b`.

## Expansion Details

The `europe-west8` region has been growing fast. Adding the high-performance `ve2` SKU means Italian enterprises can now run their most demanding database and AI workloads on local soil with fully compliant, low-latency infrastructure.

## Summary

If you are running workloads in Frankfurt or Zurich just for the `ve2` hardware, you can now repatriate them to Milan.
