Are you VMware certified? Are you in the need of recertification? If the answer to both of those questions is yes, then I have a piece of very good news for you.

Two days ago VMware announced a huge thing.  They removed the need to recertify of VMware certification. They mention that they listen to the users and the users have spoken.

Personally, I think this is a very good step. Actually, I was going to renew my VCP which expires in March but now I don't need to. I will renew it when my employer will require renewed skillset. Of course, if you need it simply recertify. For many VCP's it is not mandatory to recertify every two years.

### Great move VMware

I hope more vendors will follow this path.
